The magnitude of the human trafficking problem in Nepal is overwhelming. It is deeply rooted within the Nepali communities that overcoming it will be a very difficult task.
Just last week, 8 more innocent girls were rescued by 3 Angels Nepal and have been welcomed into the Safe Haven Home.
And there is great sadness when I tell you of another 4 innocent girls aged between 9 and 11 years. They had been been trafficked and caged for continuous rape and torture. Fortunately, we have rescued them and they have now also joined either the Safe Haven or Children Homes.
We were also shocked to find that 4 women had been stolen from their families and sold in to Indian brothels. Fortunately they have been rescued and are now with 3 Angels Nepal.
We hope that in time, each of the rescued victims will soon feel safe and secure with us in 3 Angels Nepal.
Education and awareness is the only way that we can combat Human Trafficking and 3 Angels Nepal are committed to do so. We want to stop human beings being stolen and sold like products on a shelf.
