The large vacant block of land between the current two Safehaven homes was purchased in 2012! The block of land was $150,000 and ALL of the donations were made from our efforts. Thank you so very much to Charlestown SDA Church and the Newcastle Business Community!
This land provides the link between the two current blocks to eventually create a large, secur) SafeHaven compound. The plans are to turn the vacant block into a Training Centr) for the girls vocational training. We all know that education is the way out and opens many doors!
Rajendra is so thrilled about the purchase of the land and sees it as the most significant move forward for 2012. For now, the land will be used to cultivate a vegetable patch!
