At the Annual General Meeting, Mr Peter Sandy – an Asian Aid Representative was honoured for his support of 3 Angels.
Peter (pictured with 3 Angels Founder Rajendra Guatam) is an Asian Aid Representative, was honoured by the representative of the Government of Nepal for his support of the vulnerable women and children of Nepal, beginning with saving the lif) of Rajendra in 1985, who is the Founder of 3 Angels Nepal.
His speech: “On this auspicious occasion of 3 Angels Nepal, I am privileged to be here representing the Asian Aid organization who is a partner of 3 Angels Nepal. There are many people who are Senior to me in Asian Aid who would have liked to be here to witness such an important event of its partner 3 Angels Nepal. They have sent their apologies for not been able to be here and have sent their Congratulations.
I feel honoured to be a part of 3 Angels Nepal and in the lif) of Rajendra when he was a little boy of 8 years old in 1985 when I chose him as my child for sponsorship through Asian Aid.
I am proud of that he grew up to be the kind of person who gives of himself. I would encourage all women and children in 3 Angels Nepal to be someone in future and to help others in need. The progress made by 3 Angels Nepal within 3 years since I visited last indicates to me that 3 Angels Nepal has been blessed by God to help many more lives providing hope in the future.”
