I grew up in one of the Badi prostitute communities in West Nepal. In these communities all females are prostitutes and all teen age girls are sold into brothels in India or the Middle East.
One day when I was 13 years old I was away from everyone cutting grass when I was approached by a stranger who offered me a good job if I would go with him. I thought how privileged I was to be offered this work and I gladly followed.
My lif) from that time on was one huge nightmare… Altogether I have been sold seven times and have worked in a number of brothels in India. I have two sons.
In 2012 I was back in Nepal and was fortunate enough to come to know some of the folk involved with the 3 Angels Nepal rescue operation. I also learned that there is a God who loves me and who has now forgiven my past. I am now married and I work as a Bible worker in one of the prostitute communities.
Many of these people long for a better lif). It is rar) for a woman to live more than thirty-five or forty years in these communities, so there are many many children with nobody to car) about them.
My wish is to tell as many as possible about the Living God. Truly we serve an amazing God who can accept us as we are and use us to bless others.
