Recognition for 3 Angels Nepal in their ongoing and tireless work in fighting human trafficking
3 ANGELS RECEIVES AWARD FOR PROTECTING HUMAN RIGHTS IN NEPAL
On the 4th Sept 2015 the Advocacy Forum Nepal honoured and awarded 3 Angels Nepal for the significant contributions and outstanding efforts made by them in the area of protecting human rights in Nepali Societies.
The Advocacy Forum Nepal is comprised of all the lawyers and lawmakers in the Kaski District. The President of the Forum, Mrs Sarala Pandey, highlighted some of the major contributions made by 3 Angels over a significant period of time.
Mrs Laxmi GC, the Women’s and Children’s Welfare Executive Officer, presented the award to 3 Angels Nepal and spoke highly of their selfless and untiring work in protecting and advocating for human rights, particularly for women and children.
A number of advocates and law makers also spoke glowingly of the work of 3 Angels Nepal and best wishes were expressed for their continued service to humanity.
Whilst to be recognised for their contribution to their local communities in Nepal is great, there is of course more to be done in the important work of ending human trafficking.
More funds from donations produces even faster and greater results and allows 3AN to train more Nepali people in this area.
