It’s not often children are given the opportunity to win the hearts of national celebrities, but recently, 25 children from 3 Angels Nepal Children’s Homes did just that.
The event featured children performing special cultural dances and acts, and was an opportunity for the celebrities to be exposed to the lives of these children, and better understand what life is like for many of the orphaned and disadvantaged children in their own country.
“Our children were overjoyed to be one of the few Children’s Homes selected for the program out of the 59 other Children’s Homes in the district,” says Rajendra Gautam, the director and founder of 3 Angels Nepal.
The participants enjoyed the day, and found the program a great opportunity to share their “story” with the celebrities. “It was a chance to gain more support for the children, the homes and the Kaski district community,” says Rajendra.
At the end of the day, the children were presented an award and prize for their participation, and returned home with great excitement.
